An Interview With Friends Of Maiti Nepal: Sexual Trafficking

An Interview With Friends Of Maiti Nepal: Sexual Trafficking

http://www.thinktwiceradio.com/sue-marie/sue-marie.html

Brigitte Calize-Collins and Joe Collins, founders of "Friends of Maiti Nepal" speak of their own organization stemming from a sister organization, "Maiti Nepal" founded by Ms. Anuradha Koirala. Joe and Brigitte present both missions, the horrors of sexual trafficking, abuse, rape, torture, and what traffickers seek in potential victims. Positive preventative (mental, physical, emotional, spiritual) care, border control, education, awareness, legislation, and the strength of the survivors of sexual trafficking and trade are positive measures in the lives of women and children.
In the words of Anuradha, "Please tell the world about my girls."

FLOOZIE CD Release Party: "See You Later"

FLOOZIE CD Release Party: "See You Later"

The garage rock band FLOOZIE is proudly releasing their first full-length album, entitled “See
You Later”, on October 2, 2009 at The Crocodile Bar 88 West Chippewa St., Buffalo, NY, 14202. Doors 10 PM. Tickets $3.00 (recession-proof) at the door. This 21 and over show will be rockin' until 4 AM! Musical guest, Nelson Starr will also be performing.

Earlier this year, FLOOZIE made their way into the studio to record and produce their first full-length album, “See You Later.” The response to the album has been phenomenal. As a consequence, FLOOZIE's online presence is expanding with tangible results. 20Since posting new tracks, FLOOZIE's music has been attracting an average of 1,000 plays a week, per song, on Myspace along with generous sales at iTunes before the official release of the CD. To further harness that momentum, FLOOZIE is launching a tour of the northeast . . .and beyond.

“See You Later” is available at:

Barnes and Noble - 1565 Niagara Falls Blvd - Amherst, NY 14228: Record Baron - 3048 Delaware Ave. - Kenmore, NY 14217: Layla Clothing - 2870 Delaware Ave - Kenmore, NY 14217: Cross Roads Music - 6810 Main St - Williamsville, NY 14221.

FLOOZIE is available on iTunes!!

Get out to The Crocodile Bar on October 2, this CD is truly a piece of art. I reviewed it last month and suggest you grab it before you are unable to.
